Drawing Time

Its been a busy drawing week for me, had a lot of requests from people, so that has kept me busy, I think every single drawing in this post has an owner, or hopefully owner. So that has been a lot of fun! Its been a busy couple of weeks, with summer coming the Dungeons has been super busy, and the studio has been well booked up. So busy bees all around. Whch makes me doubley happy I have been able to draw so many things.

So lots of fun for me, the progression of size in Alana's goldfish was fun, I only needed to draw the body once, and then the tail kept growing and growing, but it came out really cool, and I'm glad we kept extending the tail, it really suits the piece.

Big huge thanks to the comic Bitch Planet, Kelly Sue DeConnick and Kate Leth for the inspiration for this last piece, I am so excited that Beth asked for this and can't wait to do get tattooing this piece!

Drawing and Walking

Just a nice short and sweet post here, catching up with my drawings and walkings. So in the last post I promised a bit about drawing so here are the things I have finished off recently, I might pick these up again, and work on them but for the most part I would say they are complete. The first one is of a character from Pretty Deadly, that I also posted here, which kind of constitutes my body of fan art, though thinking back I have done an Oscar the Grouch and Winnie the Pooh for Camille and Caryn, so a bit more fan art there. Any way she was a really cool character so I might try more with her again.

As well as drawing there have been some really gorgeous days out so here is Edinburgh being beautiful.

Film News

I recently(ish) recieved an email about the film from my Grandma's camera, and they said it has been finished! With the email they sent me a sample photo so we can work out when the film is from and quick as you like my mom had a really good idea even though the film was shot when she was around 13. Now they said they would be get back to me soon with how to pay and everything like that but so far no news. They were either going to send an invoice with the photos, which I haven't recieved yet or an email of how to pay online, also which I haven't recieved so hopefully more news soon cause the pictures loook awesome!

In other film news I went to see The Dark Knight Rises on the 20th and it was awesome I don't want to say too much as I'm not reviewing it so no spoilers here! It was so good me and Dixon almost went to see it again on Sunday, but decided we would see it next week when the cinemas have quieted down!

New Painting...

So Marshy came up this weekend which really nice! I was working but only in the mornings, so it wasn't so bad, and we went to see X-men! they did a really good job of connecting to the old movies while making it a really good stand alone film. Before the movie we stoped at the Paint Spot, I finally found an art supply store. And I got some new art supplies! So excited.

 The next day we went to the record store, but I'm afraid nothing good came out of there, but we went to the comic book store later! I found Maus in the original two part version, and if you haven't read it I recomend it thouroughly! It is brilliant. Its about the authors fathers, journey through nazi occupied Europe and his life now.

So after Marsha left, I decided to do a painting, I started it at about 8 30 and didn't go to bed until 2:30 in the morning. And finally finished off relining it this afternoon.
