Don't Spill the Beans

I am lucky enough to have all of my sister's birthdays in a row so you can get them all sorted in one fell swoop! I want to show you what I have gotten them... but I can't cause I can feel them snooping right now! But I really want to! so I have to update other things....
I did get my camera to the printers, unfortunately they have no idea how old the film is so processing it might ruin the film or their machines. They said to give them a week and see what happens with it. It turns out that my film is C-22 Process, and unfortunately they can't do that. However, I can send it to London and get it processed there. I have to send an email asking if they can do it, but their website makes them sound pretty confident. So if anyone knows about C-22 Process film any info would be appreciated!
Thats my Ensign Ranger 2 and my mystery film!

There is an exciting new exhibit of mummies at the National Museum of Scotland that I can't wait to go and see. It will be soo cool! Tickets aren't even too expensive!

I am also excited to say I saw Yang Guang the giant panda on the panda cam! So I officially need to go to the zoo! I think I want to go in March when it has warmed up a wee bit more so more of the other animals will be cutting about!

So if you are in Scoland it is a pretty exciting time to be here, it hasn't even been that cold! Even with London blanketed with snow, we have had chilly but sunny weather!
Its a great time to be out seeing the sites or curled up warm with a cup of tea and a book!
These are some of the books I have been reading!

And to finish off! Even though I am really excited about Camille, Caryn and Marshy's birthdays I do need to apologise for not getting my act together sooner so that they would for sure get their presents and cards before their birthday...oops! Love you guys!

Deep Down In The Bottom of Everything

This painting has driven me abit crazy as I couldn't think of how to do the background... I don't mind this but I do think it could be loads better. Might add something to it later.
It was Jam's Birthday last weekend and we all definately had a brilliant time Catie and Nips made a huge amount  of Mexican food .

So I have been trying to do something creative at least once a day whether its sketching, drawing, painting, or writing. And I have to say minus the drunken weekend I have done pretty well!!!

For Sarah

An extremely belated birthday present!

( for some reason the photo just will not look as good as the painting and throws the perspectives all off, but you get the general idea! Hopefully I can take a better photo eventually)

New This Week,

So I am not feeling very well over the last couple days so I thought to myself that it is a perfect time to show off my amazing find! Perfectly normal to have a Boar in a Bonnet in a Baby Carriage... perfectly normal....

I also this week in lego and books! I made my lighthouse and yes it lights up and yes the light spins! Perhaps I can ocnvice Dixon to help me make a wee video proving these things! I think he likes it better than he is letting on cause there hasn't been a day since I built it that he hasn't lit it up!
Something I haven't mentioned before but probably will again (unless I forget((which is mostly possibly))) I read a lot! so these are some of the books I have been reading this week.

Hopefully I will feel better soon and there will be more art, Dixon is keeping me supplied in hot water bottles and new cups of tea so I should be feeling better soon!!

Fortune Teller.....

My new painting not sure how I feel about the bottom half but the top half was a lot of fun, it is the fist man's head I have drawn in ages, and first one I have liked! Just a bit of fun!
Playing with my new camera's macro functions...

And the drawing pre painted...
You can definately tell I have the day off today!! Two posts and ones a painting, almost unheard of!

Christmas.... AGAIN!!!!???

So I have been waiting ages to get Caryn's package she sent me, and then when it came only about a week later the one my mom sent me came!! I didn't think i would be arriving yet at all!!! So yesterday was very exciting when it came as well! Getting mail is the best thing ever! So opened it all basically as soon as I could!
I will sort of explain what everything is... Starting at the top left there is a white crocheted blankey, and a black ang grey zebra print scarf, moving along there is a Star Wars Lego Advent Calander! and just to its right the Lego Creator Light House!, below nad to its left is the dvd of Camille's wedding (yay), and then his and hers watches from my mom, as well as homemade cookies(yum!) then a collection of movies from both Caryn and my mom, then some make up ( I can't believe she remembered what kind of mascara I use, thats pretty awesome), and then a selection of souviners from Barbados, including, Pina Colada Rum Truffles, and KeyRings!
I know right I am spoiled!!!
Caryn got me an advent calander, though it was supposed to arrive

Gail and I watched this basically as soon as I opened the box, it was truely a beautiful wedding and I wish I were there more than ever, again saying congratulations to the married couple!!

Caryn got me an advent calander, though it was supposed to arrive at the beginning of December it mostly didn't arrive til the end of December! So I am deciding whether I should start opening it in February or wait until next Christmas. Gah!! Decisions decisions!

Thats all for now!! Merry Christmas again!!!

A Wee Christmas Post

So with New Year past now, I thought I would wish everyone a very belated Merry Christmas, I want to do a proper post, but I am waiting on a package. Mostly cause I need to go pick it up from Dixon's parents house, but also because the Royal Mail are not very nice. So to tied you all over, here are a couple of my gifts, we already polished off all the starbucks coffee I got with the coffee maker,

Also a very Happy New Year to everyone, I had a blast and I hope you all did too!

A Little of This....

Sorry about the rubbish photo sometimes my phone takes good ones and other times....

I don't know who else is very excited for Christmas but I am! I am currently watching How the Grinch stole Christmas, I had no idea that Boris Karloff was the voice of the Narrator and the Grinch. It is definately my favorite Christmas movie, as well as mine and Dixon's tradition of watching Die Hard as well, it is one of the few Christmas films I can get Dixon to watch!

Here's How the Grinch Stole Christmas Parts One and Two!!

I am excited to say that a whole bunch of my painting that I have never put up here before should be going up, I am in the process of getting them scanned properly as before the scanner was always too small for my paintings but I can give you a wee sneak preview with a cheeky wee photo before we go. I will show you what I have in the works.

And a few Drawings I have been working on!

Also a friend of mine knows how to work my Grandmas camera that I got so I will hopefully be able to learn how to use that as well! Which will be very cool! There is also a film in there that we should be able to try to get developed, so when I get paid at the begining of the month, I really want to do that!

I know you should try to keep one idea to blog post but I have been well lazy and should really post more. Me and Mackenzie went for tea the other day at the recently refurbished National Museum of Scotland and it looks amazing, we had a great pot of tea and a giant piece of carrot cake! You should have seen the size of the tea bag, well you will cause I took a photo cause it was huge!!

Thats one big bag!!! hH
